We were contacted recently asking if we had any vMix virtual sets with 8 inputs. We’re pleased to say that yes (now) we do!
vMix ships with quite a few Multi-box grids for stills or video included, but none of them have 8 inputs, so we thought it would be nice to offer a few here that other vMix users might find useful.

We have added some new yoga studio images to the virtual backgrounds section of the store.

Studio 15 is a multi-angle virtual set with many virtual screen options. Ideal for live streaming with remote guests.
The far wall in the centre of Studio 15 comes configured with either a single large screen built-in, or two smaller screens, or an array of four screens. You can put whatever you like into the screens, but they will work great for shows where the guests are in different locations. There is an additional screen on the left that you could maybe use for your own programme logo, or for another remote speaker if required.

Studio 14 is a multi-angle virtual stage set – suitable for awards shows and stage presentations. Customizable background screen and two large (optional) foreground screens.
Separate lighting layers in the Photoshop file give you control over the colours of all the neon strip lighting and the panels at the side of the stage. The main screen at the back of the stage is also a separate layer that you can customise with your own content.

These aren’t our usual multi-angle and multi-layered virtual studio sets, they’re just nicely shot single images that you can use as virtual backgrounds for Zoom, or any video conferencing apps where you’re able to add your own background picture. You can look like you’re in the (virtual) office, and not sitting in the (actual) kitchen with the kids running around..! read more

Studio 11 is a new multi-angle virtual set template available in a variety of different formats. Ideal for business or corporate discussion formats, the studio is designed with a slightly more informal feel, with a large feature wall element that can be changed to match the colour of your business, school, or corporate branding.

There’s a new virtual studio set to download from the store. It is a brand new version of Studio 9 with all the coloured lighting elements already changed to GREEN colours. (Note: the supplied PNG image layers and the Photoshop file have the lightbox colours as separate layers, so can still change the green bits to something else if you prefer!).
Studio 9C is available as a 3-camera angle Starter Pack which includes the ‘wide’, ‘mid’ and ‘left’ camera angles, and also a Complete Multi-angle Pack which comes with all seven single angles included (‘wide’, ‘mid’, ‘centre’, ‘mid-left’, ‘mid-right’, ‘left’ and ‘right’).read more

I was very pleased to see some clips of a recent custom Tricaster virtual set that we designed earlier in the year for sportdigital in Germany. It’s a simple three angle set with a wide shot and closer shot for single presenter and guest to chat about sport.

Here’s a few images showing a recent custom TriCaster virtual set for Transfermarkt TV. The set is based on the one I designed for sportdigital in Germany a few years ago, but I’ve rebranded it with different colours and background textures.
There’s a few new videos appearing each day on the Transfermarkt TV YouTube channel, so it’s nice to see the studio being used so regularly and successfully.read more

There’s a brand new studio available in the store today – Studio 1B
It is basically a complete IDENTICAL copy of Studio 1 except all the RED sections have already been changed to BLUE for you. Studio 1B is still completely customisable – so you can always change the blue bits to something else if you like. But I thought it might be useful for anyone wanting a BLUE version straight off the shelf.

We’ve just completed a reworking of Studio 6, and have decided to release it as a brand new set – Studio 7
There are now two new monitor screens that you can use to show your own images or video – they both appear in the wide shot, and also appear in each of the left and right MCU’s. Great for video presentations. They can be individually turned off if you don’t need them – you can have one screen, both screens, or none at all.

We have updated all of our Photoshop and PNG packs and we’ve added some new ‘quick-start’ backgrounds for every camera angle, with all the various layers merged into a single background layer and a single desk layer. These are intended to help get you up and running super quick!
They were available for a little while as separate products, and in HD only, but we have now included them for FREE with all of our PNG products, including the 4K versions.
You still get the complete Photoshop version, plus each individual layer as a separate PNG image, but we thought these extra ‘easy’ backgrounds would be a most useful addition!

UPDATE (March 2018) : We have now updated ALL our studios to take advantage of vMix’s new overlay limit (vMix 20+ allows for up to 10 layers, compared to the previous 5 layers). Existing customers can download the updated versions for free.
Most of the sets now have extra layers added allowing for more flexibility and customisation. We’ve also done a bit of optimisation – all the new and existing UV gradients have been cropped where possible and are now re-sized within vMix – this gives a performance improvement – both in reducing memory and reducing the number of pixels the graphics card needs to scan to find the mapped areas.

Studio 4 is a fully customisable virtual talk show set for chat shows, talk shows or any kind of discussion format. It comes with plenty of different camera angles including close-ups for presenter and three guest positions. A virtual desk is included, but you can also use this studio with green screen and a real desk.
