Product details

This is a single angle from Studio 2A (also available as part of the complete Studio 2A multi-angle pack)

It’s designed be used as a wide establishing shot, showing the entire studio, both screens and a full view of the studio desk and floor riser. The whole newsroom is visible behind with depth of field added. The desk, and the monitor screens are each removable.

This is a virtual set for green screen use – compatible with TriCaster VSE, vMix and most graphics and editing systems (After Effects, Premiere Pro, Final Cut, and more).

The Photoshop + PNG packs include four ready made full frame backgrounds in lossless PNG format that can easily be dropped into OBS, Wirecast or similar, or used as virtual backgrounds for Zoom calls, Microsoft Teams etc. You also get every single layer from the Photoshop document saved as a separate PNG image with transparency.

The Photoshop version includes separate layers for the newsroom and the railings, and a complete group of layers for each of the monitor screens. These groups include a separate layer for the red section of the monitor stand which lets you adjust the colour to align with your branding. You can turn the red section off to reveal a neutral (white) version behind it. There is also a subtle ‘surface’ layer that adds a hint of the studio lighting spilling on to the screen. You can adjust this to suit, or hide it completely.

The desk is removable. The desk is in a group containing several separate layers for the coloured elements and reflections in the floor and riser surface.

The lightboxes and the coloured neon strip lighting are also separate layers that can be adjusted independently. You can also turn off the entire floor riser group if needed.

The vMix version has some layers merged into a single ‘midground’ layer. In order to allow you to choose which monitor screens are visible, while still staying within vMix’s overlay limit, we have actually given you FOUR different variations, depending on which screens are visible (left screen only, right screen only, both screens, no screens). If you need to adjust or customise layers individually, then you may want to choose the ‘vMix + Photoshop’ format, as this will give you access to the original 4K Photoshop version where you can adjust every layer separately. The screen content and the newsroom background are still both dynamic layers that you can assign to your own sources.

The TriCaster version comes with the newsroom background and example screen content shown, but if you turn those layers off in VSE, you’ll find dynamic layers behind them that you can assign with your own Inputs. They’re both assigned to Input B by default, but if you have more inputs available, you can assign them to C or D. If not, you can still assign them each with a new static image of your own. The TriCaster version is also supplied with talent layers behind, and in front of (i.e. ‘over’) the desk. Just remember to hide the Live Inputs you aren’t using within Virtual Set Editor, before exporting to your TriCaster. All the other layers from the regular Photoshop version are also present in the TriCaster version which you will be able to adjust independently within VSE.

The complete Studio 2A multi-angle pack also includes a set of animations of the background newsroom layer as looping videos that add a little bit of life and movement to the monitor screens for added realism.
