Box Templates for vMix

We were contacted recently asking if we had any vMix virtual sets with 8 inputs. We’re pleased to say that yes (now) we do!
vMix ships with quite a few Multi-box grids for stills or video included, but none of them have 8 inputs, so we thought it would be nice to offer a few here that other vMix users might find useful.
You can find them all in the Store, in a new section called Box Templates.
There are quite a few different templates for eight live inputs, and also some more with seven live inputs like the example shown above, each with a different layout of the boxes. All of the sets include a 4K background image as a default. The backgound layer is dynamic though, so you can change it very easily within vMix by simply assigning one of your sources to the background layer. You could also perhaps overwrite the image called ‘background.png’ with your own image and replace it that way, or maybe edit the config.xml file to point to another image entirely. Either way, the background can be changed if you like! There is also a separate layer which has the box borders on it.
We’ve tried to make the grid layouts as useful as possible, but if you have a particular layout in mind, and can’t find it in the Box Templates section, just let us know and we can rustle one up for you!
